During installation, the medium flow direction must be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the casing.In order to maintain conveniently, it is recommended to install and use this product together with cut-off valves. Both upstream and downstream of this product should be installed with cut-off valves. When the product needs to be repaired, the upstream and downstream valves can be closed to cut off its connection with the system.It is best to install a differential pressure gauge upstream and downstream of the product. If there is a difference between the upstream and downstream pressure gauge readings, there is already impurities on the filter element. When there is media flowing through, the resistance will become larger, and the filter screen needs to be cleaned in time.In order to keep the system working normal when repairing the strainer, KMO recommends that it is best to install a bypass line at the same time as the installation. The shut-off valve is closing when the strainer is working well. But when it needs to maintenance, the shut-off valve should be opened.When installing this product, please pay attention to reserve a space for daily maintenance and repair.Note for MaintenanceKMO recommends that after using this product for a period of time, the internal filtershould be removedto clean it, so as to prevent the filter from being blocked by impurities and affecting the normal use of the system. It is generally better to clean the filter every 3 months or so.After installing the cleaned filter back to the filter, pay attention to observe whether there is any water leakage in the filter gasket.
